How to build a happy family like the Mannings

Running a family is not much easier than running a company. Even though you are families to each other, you are still different persons from each other. You have different goals, different hobbies, different opinions and different life experiences. As a long time Archie Manning fan, I always admire the Mannings for their family life that stands for love, success and happiness.Get Chitika | Premium

What attracts my attention most is that the Mannings have an active father and supportive mother. Archie Manning, the former New Orleans Saints star quarterback, is always active in all kinds of public activities and services, while his wife, Olivia, is always with him in the Archie Manning jersey to give supports. Archie helps his three sons a lot in their respective careers, and mother is just proud for any tiny achievements made by any of the three sons.

And I believe another key to the Mannings’ happy family is that they are willing to help others. They do not only help each other as family, but also generously offer helps to other peoples in their communities. Helping other people will make you feel fulfilled and sharing such great feeling with your families will improve relationships. So rearrange your schedule and take your family to work for the community for one day, and the same experience of helping others will make your family members love each other more than before.

If you are like me and a fan for the Mannings, you can also read the many articles about the honored family and learn they way to keep a great family happy and successful.

Who cares your dress at work?

The summer is coming in real sense, and there have been a lot of articles about how to dress fashionably. Well, some people may think that no one would care about what they are wearing if they are work. Wow, do you really think so? Then what about wearing a Vikings jersey in your office? Your boss may ask whether you are working or enjoying holidays.

Even if your boss is a sports fan, he may not like his employees working too casually at work place. It’s not because he does not like share his love for the team with others, but because such a dress can easily cause distraction. You don’t have to wear as fashionable as a model, but you should at least express your serious attitude towards your job by wearing neat and smart.

Your colleagues may also care about what you are dressing. Although they seldom comment on your dress, they do will feel well if you are dressing like ready for a party or a game, but nothing for a job. If they like your dress too much, they may hardly focus on work, and if they hat your dress, well, they are also going to hate you in person, because you are totally in a different world from them.

Manning said that he understood Shockey’s eagerness to get back into work but advised that he should not work too hard on the first day of returning to practice. Being asked about his opinion on the health condition of Shockey, who also passed out last offseason because of dehydration during a party, Manning smiled and said that that was fine with young man like Shockey. Shockey is a dynamic player and is always passionate with life and the game. Archie said he hoped the young man to improve communication with his own body first before forcing it back into working mode.

Archie Manning also expressed his confidence in Saints’ new season, predicting that the team is very hopefully to make it into playoffs. He said that he was ready to order an Archie Manning jersey with Super Bowl XLV patch for the celebration.

Vikings rookie Adrian Battles has good feeling with new job

Turning into a guard from tackle, former MSU college football player Adrian Battles is making progress as a rookie in Minnesota Vikings jersey, and he is confident that he will earn a spot by the time the Vikings have their training camp at Winter Park, where he visited frequently for practice and games when he was a college player for the Minnesota State University.

Battles had a four-year experience of starting at tackle on defensive line during college football career, but since joining the Vikings, he has been transformed to guard on offensive line. He has been at that position the entire two-week Organized Team Activities and will continue to play there in following offseason programs. Battles seems to have adjusted himself well to the new position and said that he was happy to have a chance of learning from big-name players. Playing behind starters Steve Hutchinson and Anthony Herrera and veteran Ryan Cook, Battles is glad to have the opportunity. He was used at both left and right guard during last week’s practices, and coaches were impressed pretty much by the rookie’s good job at both position.

Battles still need to give more excellent performance to earn a real spot with the Vikings, and the rookie is really working hard to reach his goal, so it’s reasonable for him to have the confident that he would be still with the team for the 2010 regular season.

Michael Irvin’s life advices for young Cowboys players

The former Dallas Cowboys star wide receiver might not know much on how to deal with a troubled life, but it’s been years since he took off the No. 88 Michael Irvin jersey and he has had enough time testing and thinking about what’s good for his life. So it’s no surprise when Michael Irvin gave speeches, young Cowboys players easily got touched.

The most impressive part of Irvin’s speeches was about life goals. Many young players, especially rookies always wonder what they should do with their life and how long it may take to achieve their goals. Well, Irvin’s advice is that they can make decision at any moment. Irvin told young players that they did not need to have a set mind on what they should do with life but it’s important for them to live on no matter what happens. As an NFL player, you may have to retire when you are still very young and it’s still early for you to reschedule your life after retirement.

Irvin also told young players that they do not have to love their current job. While winning games is most important in a football career, the most important in life is to love people around you. He suggest young men good relationship with teammates and coaches off the field is always more important than scoring points on the field.

Recently, Archie Manning said that he does not regret for Colts’ Super Bowl loss just as he would not regret either if it was the Saints who lost the game. The great father also said that he still expected the Colts to make appearance in Super Bowl XLV game and Peyton to bring home another Super Bowl ring. He even plans to customize a Colts style of Archie Manning jersey with Super Bowl XLV patch as preparation for the celebration. Now Peyton Manning has one more motivation to win more games this season as father is looking at him.

Talking about Saints’ chance to repeat Super Bowl victory, Archie Manning said he wished his former team to win but he still rooted for his son’s team. What if the two teams rematch in the Super Bowl game? “Oh, I don’t see that is highly possible to happy,” said Archie Manning. “But if they do, that’s a good chance for both teams.”
